| Antistatic operation mattress | |
| Purpose | A new element in the preparation of the patient at the ADIC-OLVG is the use of an antistatic operation mattress under the patient's arm. It increases comfort and it offers adequate immobilization of the arm. The mattress is reusable. |
| Description | This consists of a latex bag, filled with small polystyrene grains which adapts to the form of the patient's arm and hand when resting on this mattress. By pulling the mattress vacuum it forms a comfortable cast of the patient's arm. This will immobilize the arm and provide optimal comfort. |
