Once the
radial spasm occurs, even if vasodilator is injected into
the artery through a common sheath, it will only down
from brachial artery to ulnar artery. The reason for this
is that there is no blood flow in the radial artery,
blocked by the presence of the sheath. This side hole
sheath can deliver vasodilator directory to endothelium
of the radial artery. |
