Comments Once the radial spasm occurs, even if vasodilator is injected into the artery through a common sheath, it will only down from brachial artery to ulnar artery. The reason for this is that there is no blood flow in the radial artery, blocked by the presence of the sheath. This side hole sheath can deliver vasodilator directory to endothelium of the radial artery.
