Direct stenting  RCA

History Patient male 56 years old, ex smoker, hypertension, hypercolesterolemia. 1987 PTCA LAD, 1992 PTCA mid RCA. Unstable angina from ten days.

Good result of previous procedures, new critical stenosis (90% length > 20 mm) in the proximal RCA. Normal LV function.

Strategy

Transradial approach; Direct stenting RCA.

Procedure Right transradial approach: sheath 6 F 23 cm. Guiding catheter Multipurpose 6 F guide.High Torque  BMW guidewire. NIR Primo 3.5-25 mm stent deployed with 16 atm at 30" inflation. Uneventful clinical course. Two days after the patient partecipated to a bowles challenge.
